- Go to bricksstudio.com
- Select “Customer Login” on the top banner.
- Enter your email and password and you will be logged in to your account.
- Click the “Fees & Payments” tab on the top banner. You will then be able to view all charges listed on your account along with the type and amount.

How and when does my account get charged?
Thanks for asking! Our tuition is auto-pay with JackRabbit Class using the card on your account. We ask that you please keep your account information up-to-date. Otherwise, you will receive a $5 fee every time your card is denied. We spread out the charges for different items so that you do not receive one hefty bill every month! Here is an easy way to look at it:
- Tuition is charged the first Thursday of every month- if you need to drop a class please let us know before then!
- Retail items, Snacks, and any other items are charged every Thursday.
If you would like to pay cash, you can arrange this but please let us know ahead of time!
Where can I buy dance clothes and shoes?
As a convenience, Bricks offers a full retail boutique inside our dance lobby. We sell all types of leotards, dance clothes, shoes, accessories, and more. Visit us anytime during our business hours and we would be happy to help you shop! If anything is ever out of stock, we will always order it and contact you when you can come pick it up!
How do the snacks work?
We offer tons of snacks at our front desk! We have drinks in the fridge, gogurt, string cheese, chips and lots of other snacks. You can purchase these snacks with cash or card (if the charge is at least $5). You also have the option of “putting it on your account”. We keep a running tab every month of who purchases snacks and then each Thursday we will charge you the total amount for the snacks for the week. If your child attends more than one day a week, we typically only charge snacks once a month. With parent permission, students can grab snacks between classes and put them on their parents account. This gives parents ease of not having to carry cash and a quicker option to purchase snacks.
Where do I park?
Bricks Studio has a full parking lot behind the building for dancers and their families to park. You may also park in the street located to the west of Bricks Studio. The only places you are not allowed to park are in the neighboring businesses’ parking lots: Deutsch Architecture Group (to the east) and Elite Clinical Studies (to the west). They do tow if they see anyone parking there. We have arranged for our teachers to park elsewhere to ensure ample amount of parking for you and your families!
Do we get to watch classes?
That is a great question! Parents are absolutely allowed to see their child. Our facility has large one-way viewing windows for parents to have access to watch their child. If your child is in Studio D, they will be viewable on the TV. We have found that having parents inside the classroom can be distracting. Sometimes teachers will invite the parents in to watch something the students have prepared. We also schedule a few days throughout the year where parents/family are invited to attend.
What are combo classes?
We offer combo classes to our younger dancers ages 2-7. These classes typically consist of tap and ballet and as they get older there may be a jazz section added in. For the combo classes, students need to purchase tap and ballet shoes. Halfway through the class, the teacher sends the students out to the parent to switch their shoes. We ask that the parents help during this time. It is very difficult for teachers to change 12 or more pairs of little shoes. It is so helpful to the teachers when parents help and is such a time saver. It is also a great time to check in with your child to see how they are doing.
Do you do a Recital?
Yes! Each year we do a recital that typically takes place in May or early June. We spend August through December getting to know your child and teaching new steps that may appear in their dances. In January, we begin to start dances and work towards the show at the end of the year. Your dancer will participate in the show with the other dancers in their class. It is a minimal commitment with practices during class and only a few extra times outside of class at the end of the year. There is a recital and costume fee associated with this event.
Do you do holiday shows?
Yes! Each year we do a holiday show that dancers have the option to participate in. It typically takes place in December before the holiday break. We teach the dances during the class and perform them at a few different venues. There will be a costume fee associated with this event.
My dancer is really enjoying dancing and wants to take it to the next level. What is our next step?
We are so happy you enjoy dancing at Bricks! We love our students! For students who want to take their dancing to the next level, we recommend the Bricks Studio Dance Company. This program is designed for dancers who love to perform and compete. Bricks company is a total education to help dancers grow in confidence. It is a large time and financial commitment, but well worth it!! In order to get more information on this, you can either leave your contact info at the front desk or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be passed on to the Company Director
We missed a class. What should we do?
We do not offer a refund for the classes you missed, but you have the option to make up a class that is a similar level and age group. You can take a make-up class in any of the classes that are listed on our website in your age group. Please be sure to let the Front Desk and the teacher know that you are taking a make up class.
Can my son enroll in classes?
Absolutely! We love boys!! We have plenty of classes that they can enroll in. Lots of our boys enjoy the hip hop and tumbling classes. We also have many boys enrolled in the tap and ballet classes. You can go on to our website to view the available classes for his age group.
My daughter is 9 years old, and this will be her first year in dance class. Will she be in a “beginner” class with much younger students?
We place students based on their level. Most of our classes have both new and current students; more than likely, she will meet another student in her class who is also a beginner. She has nothing to be worried about! Older students typically progress faster and are able to move to the next level, but we do not want to skip the fundamentals.
Can I rent your studio?
Yes, we rent our dance studio out for a wide array of private events: birthday parties, events, group classes, theater troupes, private lessons…etc. Prices vary from event and depend on the amount of people, duration and other details. Please call the Front Desk at Bricks so that we can get more information on your event and give you a better idea of what the pricing would be.
How do I stay in communication better?
We send out newsletters via email, we have flyers around the studio with important information, and our table next to the front door typically has current information and flyers.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, we do have a dress code for most classes.
Ballet Classes: This is a strict dress code. Dancers must wear a black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes.
Hip Hop Classes: Dancers should wear baggy, comfortable classes and clean tennis shoes that are only worn inside the dance studio. Street shoes are not permitted on the dance floors.
Jazz/Tumbling Classes: Dancers should wear a leotard or tight fighting shirt and shorts or leggings. The type of shoes depends on the teacher and class. Classes will typically use foot undeez, jazz shoes, turn shoes, or barefoot. Please ask the teacher for specific shoe guidelines.
Mommy & Me Classes: Wear anything comfortable and feel free to go barefoot.
In general for all classes, clothes should be tight fighting in order for the teachers to be able to view the dancer and give good corrections and hair must always be pulled back and off the dancers shoulders.
What if my child is late for class?
Generally, older students will not be admitted into class 15 minutes after the class start time. This is to ensure proper warm-up, reduce injuries, ensure class etiquette, reduce class distractions, and also teach discipline. If you are late, please be completely dressed with the correct shoes on before you enter the room. Wait just inside the door and your teacher will invite you in to join the class.
How do I communicate with my child’s teacher?
It is hard to communicate with your child’s teacher because they are typically running to another class. We offer parent teacher conferences twice a year and this is a great opportunity for you to speak with your child’s teacher. You may also leave a message at the front desk and we can pass it on to the teacher. Or you may email email@example.com and we will forward it to the teacher.
Am I allowed to be friends with the teachers on Social Media?
It is against our studio policy for teachers and students or parents to be friends on any type of Social Media. Please do not friend request them because it then puts the teacher in an awkward position to have to say no to the request. Any communication must go through the front desk.
Can siblings come to the studio?
Absolutely! Siblings are allowed to sit in the lobby, we just ask that you please return the lobby to its original condition so the rest of our families can enjoy it.
Do you offer adult classes?
Bricks Studio is a children’s dance studio and we currently do not offer any classes for adults. Pivot Pilates is at our studio on Sunday and Monday mornings and you can visit their website for more information.
Do you have drop in classes?
Yes, for all of our dance classes you can come with the drop-in rate of $25. We also offer an option for High School students to come and perfect their skills outside of their norma high school dance team. The high school drop in rate is $15 per class. Please present your student ID.
Can I try a class? Why aren’t these classes free?
You are more than welcome to try a class to decide if you like it. You will be charged the $25 drop-in fee, but if you choose to enroll in the class- this $25 fee will be applied to your tuition for the rest of the month. These classes aren’t free for insurance reasons.
We were gone/sick/etc. for a period of time. What is the policy for getting our money back?
We can put a credit on your account for the amount that was missed. This will go towards your tuition in the future.
